「A nice break from a very busy Varkala. Best if you have transportation. The natural setting is calm, and it's worth exploring the beach across the waterway, accessible via kayak or 2km walk.」

Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure.」

Maybe that’s because they don’t need to as they already know that their staff are all friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, nice food and pool. And all this just a short stroll to all the amenities of North Cliff. We were there when the monsoon started and as we had a late flight they allowed us to use our room until late...

「The Deshadan Cliff & Beach Resort was as promised with all amenities including free wifi, parking and swimming pool. The rates were slightly on the higher side owing to the holidayyum season but still not exorbitant for the amenities offered. Location was perfect and at walking distance from the beach and cliff. The rooms were clean and spacious enough with private washroom and all essential toiletries provided. Air conditioning too was fine as was the television with required channels...

Bathroom with walk in shower looked like it was newly renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly made omelets. 「Brand new hotel. Great location next to the Helipad and 1 min walk to the beach and plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants. Stayed in room 301. It has a great view of the sea and the Helipad so if you like people watching this is the place for you. Very, very clean room and all hotel facilities too. Room was really good size. Linen and bed were really nice, all new and comfortable. All the staff were amazing!!!! Super helpful!!! Reception were very kind and offered me late check out...
