Semi-double is spacious, enough for my yoga mat and I could stretch my arms out. Water pressure good, hot (4th floor); walls a bit thin (woken up by next door’s snoring). Breakfast was overwhelming. APA Hotel & Resort Niigata Ekimae Odori
Comfortable beds snd bedding with a plush comforter and our room had an ofuro japanese tub for soaking! It was a big hotel but easy to check in/out; I especially liked the express checkout. Close to train station and an easy walk to the river.

Hotel Nikko Niigata
Excellent accomodation, clean, tidy, good amenities and quite comfortable. Bathroom just a bit snug but otherwise very good. Excellent range to choose from for breakfast and had a choice of almost real coffee (automatice machine not barista) but best breakfast coffee yet in Japan.
