Seascape is a short walk to the private end of Newport’s popular First Beach (also called Easton's Beach), and also close to the other premier beaches in the area second, third beach and Peabody beach. It is a perfect location for an active vacation of surfing, paddle boarding, boating and biking or a more relaxing time of sunning on the beach and walking on the beach for beautiful sunsets. We are within walking distance of several restaurants with a wide variety of cuisine. A short bike ride brings you into downtown Newport and the shopping, dining and nightlife for which it is famous.

This unique property is located in Renfrew Park, a private neighborhood of stately Victorian mansions spread around a 5 acre private park which were built during Newport’s Gilded Age as summer getaways for New York’s wealthy social class. Seascape sits at the top of the hill overlooking the park and commanding sweeping views of the beach, ocean, sunsets and the Cliff Walk mansions beyond. Enjoy a cool drink in the shade of the large and comfortably furnished wrap-around, covered front porch. Watch the sunset from the second floor porch or survey the beach by moonlight from the porch off of the third floor master suite.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking a gourmet meal. We have everything you could need for a beach gathering from charming serving plates to pots to boil lobster. The dining room seats twelve at a gorgeous custom made table. Relax in the spacious and private backyard with beautiful landscaping. Barbeque at the outdoor kitchen with it’s powerful grill and relax in the backyard lounge or dining area. Your kids can play on the playset or play lawn games.

Your group can expand and relax in the five large bedrooms plus a den with a futon bed. The house is completely renovated and modern while maintaining the historical charm and details of its Gilded Age origin. Three of the bedrooms have en suite full baths and there are 4 full and one half bath in total over the 3,800 square foot house. The crown jewel is the master suite which occupies the whole third floor of the home. Enjoy the sweeping views of water and sand while lounging in front of the wall of picture windows or have a glass of wine at sunset from your private balcony. The other spacious bedrooms are all tastefully appointed and comfortable with good sleeping capacity.
