Wonderful place to stay during our trip to Newport! The place was clean, tastefully, decorated, and had beautiful views of the harbor. The host was responsive and was even kind enough to have wine and snacks waiting for us upon arrival.Although there was some street noise from the Thames street nightlife, there were a number of fans and white noise machines available throughout the condo, which made the noise a non-issue. Overall, would highly recommend this place for anybody looking for a place to stay in Newport that is right in the middle of all the action.

Anniversary celebrations

Pictures of the property were very accurate. Owner very nice and easy to contact. Location was fantastic and we were able to do a lot without using a car. We had fun people watching from the large balcony.

Lovely place...a few check-in challenges

The condominium was very nice as described. However a few glitches at check-in: no keys in the lockbox so it involved a few phone calls including with VRBO customer service-finally fount them in another unit's lock box and the information sheet provided by VRBO had errors-no contact phone number for the owner of the unit and and incorrect password for WIFI, which the owner also had to communicate. Human errors do happen, but these two were rather critical ones.

Great location and loads of space

The location was in the heart of Newport and perfect for our weekend. That did lead to some noise at night from people walking between bars but nothing major. The apartment itself had tons of space and was well equipped.

Weekend getaway to Newport from Midwest

Outstanding location! Private parking. Cleanliness was terrific. Extra supplies available (towels, sheets, etc) Well organized. Would stay here again for certain!

Overall good property

Property was spacious, clean and in a good loca tion. The photos and online description were accurate. The owner needs to pay more attention to detail and provide better directions to the parking garage, accurate information regarding access to Wifi and info. in the unit regarding the tricky showerhead in the master bathroom. It would also be helpful to have more than 1 set of keys to the exterior doors. Overall this was a good place to stay.

Owner lacked interest in responding or resolving issue

The master shower had no hot water. The owner blamed me for not turning on the water correctly. The owner showed minimal interest in resolving the issue. This is not a 3 bedroom - don't be fooled. It's a 2/2.5 with a day bed in the living room.

Wedding weekend

What a wonderful place to stay for my daughters wedding weekend. It was central for getting to all of the venues plus waking up to a bright beautiful water view every morning. Definitively will stay there again!

Long weekend with the fam

Property is in the perfect location. Steps away from everything. Comes with 2 parking spaces which is fantastic. Plenty of room. Beautiful well appointed kitchen. Balcony with an amazing view. Spent a lot of time out there. We had a couple minor issues that we tried to address with owner but he was away overseas on business. He did eventually get back to us and was very apologetic. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location

Location and size absolutely perfect. Owner was excellent to deal with. Unit needs more seating in living room, upgrade to better pillows and sheets. For downtown area a perfect place to stay.

Perfect Getaway Spot

Such a lovely space and great location! Clean, gorgeous view, well-appointed. We could walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go…shopping, coffee, food, sightseeing. Five adults in town for a friend’s wedding. Everyone had their own space for sleeping, getting ready for the wedding events, etc. Great kitchen. Really nice to have parking in the building.

Our Stay For Our Daughter’s Wedding in Newport

This is such a fantastic location! The apartment/condo is bright, airy and well stocked. Owners gave clear directions up front including check in, parking, and check out. Directions were so complete that we didn’t have any reason to communicate with them again, leaving us free to enjoy a very special weekend. I would definitely recommend this unit and would rent again in a heartbeat. Oh, and the views… priceless.

Niece's Wedding in Newport at Bel Mer

This was a wonderful location. The accommodations were centrally located, charming and exactly what we needed. The space provided room for everyone to awaken at their own pace - appreciated. The deck overlooking the harbor had spectacular views.
