"We really enjoyed the Intercontinental club - the chef and attendants there were so nice and inviting. They made the stay and our visits to the club - for breakfast, tea time, drinks and appetizers - so relaxing and enjoyable.
The room was very clean and gave us a comfortable night's sleep."
"Friendly, welcoming professional staff, quiet hotel and rooms that look relatively new - location is top knotch in the middle of town between shops - also near a Chemist warehouse and a Woolworths supermarket. An easy 15min walk to Wellington Train Station for regular walkers and also to the Cable Car station. The room is well stocked, super comfy bed and very handy to have a washer and dryer in it. Could not fault this place - it’s secure and safe with room swipe card access only - so much better than what I expected and definitely highly recommend !!"
"Awesome view of the city from the top floor - enjoyed watching the boats and the weather. Spacious room with a good kitchenette. A short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the city, the offices on the Terrace and the university up on the hill."
"Service was excellent and the room was clean. Consider a toaster that can manage sourdough or change the loaf size breakfast hot dish covers were on upside down making it difficult to access the food beneath. "
