"A little gem nestled in the countryside with glorious views. Lucy’s apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy, comfortable and very well equipped. Lucy is an absolute hoot- very welcoming and full of suggestions of things to see or do. Perfect for dogs too, with a lovely enclosed garden and lots of walks from the location detailed in the information folder. Lots of lovely pubs nearby too including a local just across the way. We would definitely come back."

"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. "Our stay was very enjoyable and the staff very good unfortunately breakfast was a bit disorganised. Hollie was a lovely girl and explained everything but my husband's breakfast order went wrong and instead of eggs royal he ended up with eggs Florentine. On the second day I ordered two poached eggs and gluten free toast but had to ask after about twenty minutes if it was going to arrive and it did about another five minutes later so I assumed it had been forgotten. Apart from that mishap out stay was very nice."

"From the moment we entered till we left, we knew we had made the best choice by staying at The Conningbrook Hotel in Ashford. Tucked away of the main road only adds to the attraction of the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival and the room was very cosy. It had everything that could be needed at a stay, from ironing board to hairdryer and a full length mirror! The little attention to detail made the whole difference to our stay. Would highly recommend using them as the experience was great throughout."

But it was a good location for a wedding we attended. The breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. The staff were also very attentive."
