We are four senior travelers who were very excited to see New Orleans. Upon our arrival, Dan came out to meet us. He told us where to go eat and was very welcoming. We had been traveling from Arizona and needed to do laundry right away. To our surprise there was a note on the door saying, shared laundry and clothes piled all over the top of dryer. The lady next door happened to come out and i asked if they were hers, she said no. My husband went next door and knocked on Dan’s door as to inquire what we should do with the clothes. Dan immediately became rude because he knocked instead of ringing doorbell. He then asked me if I had went up and down the street knocking on doors? I replied, I haven’t knocked on any doors. They were his clothes!! We were not informed about a shared laundry. His listing is very misleading. This was a very different Dan than we had originally met. The house itself is a cute shotgun house, however it was filthy. I have sent photos so you can see for yourself. The listing said dishwasher and grill, which there was neither. The back of the house, which he describes as a veranda, was a different picture than what it is. The picture was of his back yard not this back yard!! I have enclosed pictures so you can see the rotting picnic table and benches, the messy patio, and the broken down bikes that were thrown against the broken down fence.
