We were very happy with the accommodations. Having the use of the laundry and the well-equipped kitchen were great. All three beds were very comfortable.
We didn’t cook, however, because of all the great restaurants in walking distance . The neighborhood was easy to explore and seemed very safe. We walked home from Clancey’s in the dark (about 5 short blocks) and thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween decorations. It was a great choice for 3 women in their 70’s. Uber service was easy.
Property was clean and the beds were soft. Personal hygiene products available was a nice touch. Neighborhood super cute and within walking distance to Magazine St. Only complaint would be that the other side of the property was very noisy and unfortunately my family and I could hear it every night.
We really loved the location of this property. There are some nice restaurants and a Starbucks nearby and it’s super close to Magazine street shops. The property itself was clean and we slept well on the huge king size beds. I always like to give one critique. If one thing could’ve been better it would be the shower heads in the bathrooms. They could use replacing/didn’t function all that well. Other than that our stay was perfect. Thanks, Clay!
Some of the seating had visible stains which was somewhat disconcerting. The rugs should go. They trap dust and odor and did not add to the decor, but the property was generally in decent condition.
The home was wonderful with such a feel of history. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated but blended nicely with the house. LOTS and LOTS of towels, linens, shower toileties. Great AC. Comfortable beds. Super clean ( and I am a nurse). Safe neighborhood ( and I am a New Orleans native). The owner left us a welcome gift. Outstanding communication with owner. For 2 couples and 2 children was absolutely PERFECT for us. Would stay again in a heartbeat if traveling with others. Greatly Enjoyed!!!
Loved location
There was a bottle of wine waiting for us 😀
Beds were really comfortable
It is a shotgun house so you have to walk thru every room
Would definitely stay again
Great stay at a well equipped and stocked property in a great neighborhood,
This shotgun house in the Uptown neighborhood near Audubon Park and a Whole Foods store is on a quiet side street with a friendly, helpful neighbor. The property is comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen, extra linens, and a washer/dryer to accommodate longer stays. Our stay included French Quarter and Jazz Fest weekends and enabled us to enjoy that time while staying in a comfortable neighborhood away from the crowds in the French Quarter.
Great place for our 2 month summer program. Safe neighborhood, can walk to trolley, street parking always available, Whole Foods and many restaurants available close by via car or foot. House had everything we needed. Large king beds were comfy. Most reasonably priced house in great neighborhood. Would definitely choose again. Thanks to our host!!
Great location for Tulane graduation weekend. Walking distance to several restaurants and easy drive to different parts of the city. Set up of home is shotgun style so you walk through bedrooms to get from room to room. Worked ok for our party but not 100% ideal if you have privacy needs.

Spacious bedrooms and good location
This rental is spacious with large bedrooms and tall ceilings. It is convenient with parking in front and, as it is just off Magazine Street, it is in close walking distance to shops and restaurants. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and it is across the street from a church. There were plenty of toiletries and towels provided - even a hair dryer. The beds were very comfortable. Please be aware that the televisions are smart tvs with no cable box. If you have something specific you want to watch during your stay (like a game on ESPN), you need to make sure you will be able to log in to a service you have to gain access to that specific channel.

Cozy shotgun style home-Would return
Three couples shared this home while visiting NOLA for Essence Fest and hotels in the French Quarter were too pricey ($500+/night).. Location is a bit of a drive/Uber from French Quarter, but it was great for us to see other parts of the city. Location is near great shops and restaurants in Garden District. Home was functional and clean. Some of the renovations could be touched up in the front bathroom, but overall we felt safe and the house was clean. We were happy.with our stay.
