The check in process was very easy. The street is pretty quiet other than a few locals hanging out outside and the church bells. We were able to park right in front of our building, the next day we were had to park on another street due to the Treme Fall Fest but that wasn’t a big deal. The place is nice, it has a real shabby chic quality that I liked. The courtyard was nice to spend some time in. The bed is a little squeaky, but still moderately comfortable . As far as cleanliness goes, the bedroom and kitchen were clean but the bathroom left a little to be desired. The bathroom is old and dingy but mostly clean. The ceiling also leaked when we were there but I alerted the owner and he was on it immediately. The location is the best part, if you’re down for walking you can be in the Quarter in minutes and the neighborhood has so much history and the people are so nice.
