My partner and I had a wonderful time during our stay and are already talking about when we could come back and stay here again! We read the other reviews and listing so we knew to expect no cell service and that the wifi might be a bit slow or patchy, so this wasn’t an issue for us. Honestly it was nice being away from all of the notifications! The hosts were prompt and super happy to help when we needed the router restarted at the beginning of our stay.
It was lovely and warm in the cabin, and the hot tub was very private and clean. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to getaway with homey and charming decor, friendly hosts, and a peaceful location, look no further!
I think we had some of the best sleep of our lives — after a lounge in the hot tub, the bed was so comfortable and the sounds of the pond and waterfall out back lulled us right to sleep.
There is a large cabin nearby, but for our stay it felt like we were the only people around, which was a nice surprise.
We had a very unexpected bit of snow on our day of check out, which was lovely!
Expect that there might not be cell service and that the wifi won’t be super fast, but be sure to tell the hosts immediately if you need wifi help. After the router was reset, we were able to watch several episodes of a show on Netflix with some initial buffering in the beginning but that worked fine otherwise. Wouldn’t recommend for zoom calls, but who wants to work on vacation anyway? 😊
