「I couldn't have asked for a better getaway weekend at this place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We sat by the brook, we made a fire, soaked in the Jacuzzi, and slow danced on the deck under the lights The host was very kind and welcoming and the attention to detail was much appreciated. 「Life as it is meant to be. We were here for an overnight stay and my kids (boys 5 & 7) LOVED being outside, jumping over the creek, petting the dogs, feeding the goats, and looking at the beautiful Highland cattle - then spending the evening chasing fireflies. This is a very special place if you're looking to just get away. We plan to come back for a longer stay. 」

「This was an amazing place. The house was fantastic. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, campfires at night, and close approximation to everything we wanted. We were able to go see our son at App State for the day and enjoy wine at Linville winery. Our younger kids loved going gem mining and the outdoor roller coaster, which was only a short drive. We will definitely be returning. 」
