First of all (since i'm not sure which room this review is going to post on), I booked room West 6D, but was forced to stay in West 4A. So my review on the room is going to reflect 4A. Upon arrival at the condo, we first noticed that the furniture that was shown in the pictures, was not what was included. There was a rug an extra chair in the living room in the pictures, that was not included in the room. When you're constantly walking around on the hard floor, it is nice to have a rug to make things more homey feeling. We had to wear our shoes all week because the floor was disgusting. I don't believe that it was cleaned prior to our arrival. The third bedroom, which had the twin beds, had a bathroom attached. The toilet in that bathroom would run every single time you flushed it, unless you adjusted the handle. My children could not adjust the handle right, so every time they went to the bathroom we had to go in there and fix it. The kitchen was poorly stocked. Bare necessities. Cheap plastic cooking utensils. Large TV, cheap utensils, no games, no dvds.
Now let me give you some background about my overall booking experience: I booked Beach Colony West 6D back in June 2020. At first, i was sent a reply that the room was booked alread, however after i questioned the fact i could book the same room on another website for a little more money, it was then noted that it was in fact available. So i continued to book and pay the first deposit. In September, I received an email from VRBO stating my quote had been edited (my dates of stay were different). We immediately called Linda (the property manager) and she advised that everything looked good on her end, she wasn't sure why it was saying that. Then, when i went to adjust our dates to remove on day off the end of our stay, that is when it came to light that another guest had booked also, and my booking and theirs were mixed up. They had my name attached to a different 3 bedroom and their name attached to the one that i booked, although it was on my VRBO account. The second party booked after we did and the only option we were given was to change to a different room or cancel. I was extremely unhappy that i booked as early as i did and another guest took the room that we booked, even though we booked first. We love Navarre, but will not book with Linda again. She was extremely rude and made it sound like it was our fault that it happened.
