For only three pounds per person we have spent two hours wandering around the museum and taking pictures of trains from different decades (including Hogwarts Express).
The Hogwart's Express from the Harry Potter films. The museum holds the most amazing collection of trains from all over the world.
Number 4468 Mallard is a London and North Eastern Railway Class A4 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive built at Doncaster, England in 1938. It is historically significant as the holder of the world speed record for steam locomotives.

Our 2nd stay at The Jorvik. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with an excellent shower. We chose not to have a breakfast tray as there are plenty of eating options nearby. The minibar was very well stocked.
