「We had to inquire with the owner about the lodge as no information about check-in was provided in advance. However, when I inquired with the owner, she informed me immediately. The bed sheets were not set and we had to make the beds ourselves. We had to wash the sheets and towels ourselves and check out, which I would only recommend to those who have enough time. Because of the many rules, I thought it would be a problem for people staying there if they were not posted on the website.」

「We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! 「Had a great time relaxing here over the weekend, location was perfect for those of was wanting a trip up the mountain and the spa was there for those who wanted to stay in the warmth. The only issue we had was bookabatch not informing us of the code to access the house, we had to call the help centre for crucial info. Wasnt a dealbreaker though, we will definitely stay again given the chamce. 」

「The man that ran the place was very kind and straight to the point heaps of utilities in the kitchen so you wouldn’t have to bring a whole pan or potato masher, the kitchen and toilet are shared but it was still great. The heater was warm and me and my friends had a great time 」
