"We picked this hotel for a Japanese experience at a hot springs. Which it delivers. So this is a bamboo mat, sleep on the floor on a thin mat type of place for the room we booked. Which is what we wanted for 1 night. Shower is outside with the hot tub. Great views across the river while soaking in the tub. The shower and tub had decent coverage for the rainy day we were there. The dinner is set, with some items that were, uhm, unique for us during our trip. We had lunch at an excellent soba...

"The staff was very nice and helpful. It had a communal kitchen and a communal bathroom with a kind of onsen or basically a big bathtub with hot springwater to be used by multiple people. It is right above the vine bridge so it’s in central area, but there’s not much in this area in the way of dining options. We went down the street and was able to get some simple food. I don’t know if I would’ve booked it if I’d known it had a communal bathroom. it was clean though and surprisingly it didn’t get...

"Although it is far from JR Kochi St, this inconvenient will pay off for really friendly atmosphere, nice Japanese style breakfast, and different taste of curry dinner everyday. I highly recommend this place because you can enjyoy having time with international guests, solo travelers, and ,of cource!, friendly staffs."

"We were fortunate to book this hotel and had a wonderful stay. It is outside of Kochi city, but we had a car making it convenient to explore the area. It happened to be the fall training camp for the Hanshin Tigers. Hotel guests received a pass to see the players leave for camp in the mornings. Such a treat. The breakfast was amazing and with a view of the ocean. The Spa was comfortable and because we stayed two nights they move male/female baths so we could try both. "
