Great View, Noisy Neighborhood

We loved the condo, and the balcony had a decent view of the ocean. The plumbing in the showers could use some minor TLC and there was activity and loud music on the street at all hours of the night. Despite that, we very much enjoyed our stay and the easy access to the beach and property amenities.

I took my friends and our S/O for a weekend getaway and found this gem! It is centrally located to most shopping centers, restaurants, malls and much more. The place was very clean and inviting! The balconies were my only blah part of the trip as they felt loose(they weren’t, just room for swaying) but overall great little getaway spot and I loved having a full kitchen!

The stay was wonderful. The room was so clean and the house keepers was so nice. But, I ask for a 3 bedroom and because there were 4 people staying in the group they gave me a 2 bedroom with a sofa bed. I had 3special needs individuals that were men and a female staff. That was not good. And they would not give me another room because it sleeps up to 6 people. But they were happy campers.

Condo has not had a good cleaning in a while. White socks and bottoms of our feet were black from walking across the floors. Contact lense from last guest was still on the back of sink. Master bedroom was missing the remote. Guest bathroom shower door was off the track and was hard to get in and out of. Called the morning after our first night at 8am to let them know about the floors and the missing remote. Left room around 10:30ish to enjoy the day and had not seen the maintenance crew who we were told would bring a remote. Housekeeping came by when we got back to room around 3pm wanting to clean l but we were worn out and I told them it could wait till we left the next day. Called office again about missing remote around 3 and was told they would send maintenance. Around 6pm I missed a call from the office. Called back around 7:30pm and they wanted to know if we had gotten the remote. I let them know we had not. They said they would have maintenance over in 10 mins. 9pm maintenance showed up, he was polite and brought a remote and made sure it would work. I let him know about the shower doors and told him I could call office to have them do a work order for when we left. He said he would go ahead and fix it and he did. Checkout was at 11. Around 9:50am housekeeping was knocking on the door to see if we had left. I was not in the room when this happened because I was loading the car. I was told she was very nice.

The Beach.

The property was hard to find at first. The sweet lady that ran the beach shop below was super helpful with the assist of checking in since it wasn’t her first time experiencing the question of where the condo was located. The view was very misleading. You could see the beach from the bedroom if you stood at the door; not what was pictured online. Overall it’s was a clean and up to date with TVS in each room. Not much night life in that area. The beach shop under the condo had everything you would need to have fun in the sun.

Check-in and Checkout issues

The only issues I had was at check-in and a request for a late checkout. Check-in: The property did not have a record of my check in date, which I added and paid for the day before! It was 3:00 AM in the morning and I had to contact Vrbo to assist with getting us checked in as the front desk clerk stated there was nothing she could do. However, after I got on the phone with Vrbo, she then checked with the Manager to see if there was something they could do. It appeared there was something they could do however, Vrbo Rep was in the process of sending them confirmation of my check in date. We were not happy at this point after being on the road. Check-out: I requested a late check and was told by Vrbo to check with Property Management. Only to be told that they do not offer late check-outs on the Property we were in, as it usually books up fast. However, I asked them to check to see if the unit we were in was booked, and they confirmed it was not. They still would not give me any leeway on a late checkout. Thank you,

We were very disappointed that this listing appears to be 2 bedrooms, although one “bedroom” is open to the family room. The doors were extremely dirty with sand and dirt. Our towels had hair in them. And, they closed the pool for the entire day for maintenance. We tried bringing this issues up to management via Vrbo messaging and they never replied. I was hoping to at least get the floors cleaned. Then, I went to the front desk and they just said, “ok, there’s nothing we can do”.

Looking forward to staying again in the future. The location was perfect, walking less than 5 minutes to the beach. The actual place was nice and clean when we arrived. It had very basic items, coffee machine, cups, mugs, dishes for four people. I was expecting at least salt and pepper and sugar, but it’s all bring your own. Trash was located at the end of the hall so it was easy to clean up and toss. There was a trolley cart in the Lobby to use. The master room was very large it could fit two queen beds but it was only one king bed. A lot of towels for use, basic toiletries. Overall would stay again.

I enjoy the little condo, it was pretty cozy for a small family outing. I didn't like how the second room didn't have a door. It was mainly open. But over all the cleanliness was pretty good. All and all it wasn't a bad spot. Check in at the landmark was a bit hectic being that it was a timeshare. Seems i had to wait a little while since it was so busy. I didn't like that part.

Will never return or recommend!

I never felt the need to review any business in a negative light until now. I'm a business owner, also in customer service, and know how it is to be decent, polite to clients. Courtesy is key when running any business. Thus my story of my horrifying weekend in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. This was my first trip since the pandemic & I was so looking forward to this weekend. FYI, I'm from New York City, I'm accustomed to noise and lots of it. I'm world traveled, I've been to to third world countries and I've never experienced what I experienced this weekend, anywhere, at any time, in all my adult life! Our room was very clean, immaculate the bed was reasonably comfortable, pillows were uncomfortable, not a biggie, I dealt with it. That's a personal choice anyway. My issue - FYI, at 1 in the morning and at 3am in the morning, outside my room was a couple fighting, maybe domestic, screaming, yelling, cursing, right outside my door! They woke me up twice. I'm not one that goes to bed 10 pm not even 11 pm. But, at 2 am and 3 am to be woken up by a couple of people screaming and yelling outside my door, cursing it was absolutely horrendous, quite scarey waking up to that. Imagine it to yourself. I called, security, called them four times, no one picked up. I almost called the police, although I did not want to go through the drama at 3:30 in the morning. I called staff in the morning, the man I spoke with, interrogated me like I was the one that was wrong. He never apologized, I just couldn't believe it. I offered to show him my phone, so he could see how many times I called security, he was not apologetic to my plight. Just to set the record straight, this hotel was no bargain, if you get what I mean. It's unacceptable to treat hotel guests in this manner and completely out of line. Nothing was offered to me, to make amends for my evening of torture. It's tourist season, they just don't care what problem I had. FYI - It was motorcycle week, the weeknd I traveled...even the cyclists stopped riding down the streets like they usually do at a reasonable time, actually they were respectful to others and the noise after a
