Overall a very pleasant experience and delightful accommodations. House and furnishings are slightly dated but fully functional, and everything a family can possibly want or need is already on site. The floor plan is unusual but charming and lends itself to ample privacy for large groups (I went with my two sons, my mother, my girlfriend and her two sons - first “extended” family vacation and private spaces were a must). The pool and hot tub are excellent. Another perk is the immediacy to the ocean (small path over the dunes) but almost complete seclusion from beach-goers. The property is actually a duplex with the owner living on the second floor which was not known in advance, but that is absolutely not a deterrent whatsoever. She is a lovely person and encourages guests to make themselves at home, basically encouraged the noise created by the shenanigans of FOUR preteen boys. I don’t have any criticisms. It was great

Great stay!

House is right on beach and pool is beautiful. And the host is absolutely lovely. The house was decorated quite a while ago but is clean and comfortable. The location is near everything and so convenient. We will definitely stay again.

Great place and great time

Sitting at the property you have direct views and private access to the beach. The spa was a wonderful addition especially in April. Our family of 8 had plenty of room. We would definitely recommend this home!

Awesome Girls Trip!

Have to say this was one of my top vacations with some great sister! Property is located close to everything you could want to do. House is right on the beach with easy beach access! I can't even say enough good things about Ms. Rudene, she was responsive to all of our needs, and so thankful she shared her beautiful home with us!

Fabulous Vacation Spot!

The location, the pool, and the living space was fabulous! The owner who lives upstairs is very kind and helpful! The house and the grounds around it are beautiful! There was spacious parking for our vehicles (2). To clarify, the beautiful balcony is off limits to guests but the back lower patio and pool area are spacious and very enjoyable. It's just a short walk across the dune to the beach. Would definitely stay here again! We didn't want to leave.

Awesome Location

This was a wonderful vacation with my family - my parents and 5 teens. Easy check in and out. Staff and owner are very friendly. The location is superb with easy access to the beach, shops and entertainment. The pool hot tub a wonderful area to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Pool and hot tub were so relaxing. Then there's a short walk to the beach - it was just about our own private beach! Would definitely stay again. Property owner was very friendly and helpful.

Great place, outstanding location, close to everything, and Mrs Rudene, the property owner, was just the sweetest woman with the most amazing ing digital, and is so accommodating!! I HIGHLY recommend this house!!!

Best vacation yet!

We had the best time at Labuona Vita! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were a total of 9 of us staying here and it couldn't have been a more perfect fit for our family. The listing is incorrect on the bed count. There are actually 2 King beds, 2 Queen beds and a twin with a trundle (pullout) twin bed. There are 3 full bathrooms. One jack and Jill bathroom between the downstairs king and queen bedrooms. One attached to the king and twin bedroom and 1 upstairs beside the queen bedroom. The king beds are plush and lovely. The queen beds are very firm. My husband actually prefers a firm mattress, so it worked out for us. The home is older and has a small kitchen, but functions just fine and has everything you need. It was nice having the extra fridge in the laundry room. The best part of the house is the location! Only minutes from downtown Myrtle Beach, the skywheel and boardwalk! I can't say enough how nice it was to be oceanfront and have a pool and hot tub! Our teenagers and their friends LOVED that part and so did the adults! We also fit 2 big trucks and a car in the driveway just fine. There is a large dining table that fit our whole group as well, which was very nice to have at meal time. Yes, the home is older and could use some updating, but we didn't mind it a bit and the location and amenities much outweigh any cosmetic shortcomings. One downside to note is the upstairs queen bedroom doesn't have a working AC unit. There is a thermostat up there but it never worked the entire time of our stay. It did get very hot up there. We could have complained I suppose, but we didn't. Also, Miss Rudene was absolutely lovely. She said hello to us upon arrival and then left us alone the entirety of our stay. She let us know she was available if we needed her though. All in all, we absolutely LOVED our stay and most definitely would return again for future vacations! ❤

Great location

Nice clean home in a great location. The owner was very kind. We had an issue with the barbecue grill and she had it fixed right away. Home is a bit dated and needs some minor maintenance, but nothing major. We would stay here again :)
