Family vacation
First time at Myrtle Beach. First impression of resort was not the best. Lobby area to get in was covered with water from pool area right next to it. Carts everywhere so had to work around them. Not the cleanest. Elevator floor was covered with water from people/kids from pool area. The layout of condo we reserved was not what was expected. There was no mention of it being two separate rooms where one main door then hallway between the two bedroom setup and the third bedroom; each having their own locked doors. We couldn’t lock the door so the other person could get in if needed. No main lock on main door. Housekeeping came in unannounced.Two lights with burned out lights in them. The drawers in the dresser in the main bedroom didn’t close very well. The room smelt like there was some sort of smoking that went on in the rooms. Also could smell smoking off the balcony. The dishes provided was all glass and breakable. Would have been nice to have some plastic ones to use. Also if we had more people staying wouldn’t have had enough. The furniture in the unit was pretty worn. Living area only has room for 4 people. Others had to sit at table or bar. No check out directions provided within the unit.
