Absolutely amazing stay! The view is beautiful, the property was so clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful! My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub every night of our stay! We both loved here and couldn’t have asked for anything else!

This is a nice property with friendly and helpful staff members. The only thing to be mindful of is location. If you’re looking to be close to the busy areas, you won’t. You’ll have to plan some sort transportation. But if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, then location shouldn’t be an issue

Virginia went above and beyond and made sure our requests and concerns were properly met. She was quick to respond and listened to our comments re another company service (that has nothing to do with due mari). She made us feel at home and we were very well taken cared off. Our stay was pleasant because of her. The only down fall is the transportation you have to pay every time to go to the city proper. It’s not far but they charge $$$ (again not due mari just transportation companies)

I was returning from a sunset cruise when it happened. As my driver wove his way through the dark hills, farther and farther away from town, he turned to me and said, “Where did you find this hotel?” “The internet,” I ventured, knowing what was coming. A brief pause, and then he said the words I’d been thinking since I’d arrived in Mykonos. “It’s… nowhere.” And he was right. Due Mari hotel is beautiful, with a gorgeous swimming pool, patios lined with lush flowers, and private hot tubs. It’s also in the middle of nowhere. I had no idea how far this hotel was from everything when I booked it. I would not have booked it if I’d known. I started to panic. I was traveling alone, and of all the places I’d visited (22 European cities so far!) I’d never been so isolated from basic needs like food. But hey, at least I could eat at the hotel restaurant if it started to get dark out. Oh, wait. They had no restaurant. They served alcohol, but no meals. Well, at least there were restaurants in the neighborhood, right? Nope again. I was not in a neighborhood. I was high above town, and if I wanted to eat, I had to walk alone on isolated roads in 90 degree heat or pay 60 euros a day for a taxi. Speaking of taxis: On my final day, the staff arranged for a taxi to take me to the airport at five in the morning. Then the staff went home (they’re not on site between 10pm and 8am). I got up at five and went outside to meet my taxi in the dark. It never came.

Stylish and fine hotel

Amazing staff beautiful hotel with nice a nice view - it would be nice to be able to have breakfast as well in the hotel - we just had some issue with our bathroom which should be fixed for the next visitors - A big plus is Virginia, she is always supportive and makes this stay much nicer - thank you for your great support

Me and my partner stayed at due Mari for ten days and absolutely loved it. Super quiet, great location (ten minutes into the town and a ten minute walk to a fabulous beach) it has a lovely pool, lots of parking and also a family of cats who we adored and wanted to take home!! Virginia is a fantastic host and couldnt do enough for us, we will happily stay here again.

Virginia was incredibly helpful. Very able and willing to help with any query. The property was lovely although more isolated from conveniences than I thought it would be. A scooter solved that problem easily, which Virginia took care of promptly. The jacuzzi worked well, the kitchenette was convenient for breakfasts and snacks, and they thoughtfully provided fruit.

We stayed at the Due Mari for 8 days end of August-early September. 3 adults. The property manager Virginia is the best! Very kind and accommodating. She gave great recommendations for where to go and where to eat. The room we had was their basic suite 102. They do a great job at cleanliness but there were a few things worth mentioning. (1) The paint /walls were cracking in several places and in need of visible repairs. (2) each day there was a heavy odor of sulfur/sewer in the room and the AC is turned off when housekeeping comes. So it takes a while to air out the smell once you return and get the AC going (3) there isn’t a full length mirror in the room which makes getting ready tricky, (4) the safe isn’t secured to the cabinet (5) the street signs to the property are small and hard to read. Overall it’s a nice property. About a 15 minute drive from the main part of town on a hill overlooking property(you can see goat’s down below). Plenty of free parking. I’d recommend for sure just have realistic expectations and make the best of your stay.
