「Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. 「We were looking for a convenient place to stay in Bridlington and I'm so glad we found "Salt on the Harbour". From the outside, it doesn't look like a hotel and you might have second thoughts. But inside, the rooms are very comfortable, with lovely views over the harbour. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach, town and harbour, plus free parking is a bonus. 「We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.」

The hotel also has some really thoughtful touches like providing rain ponchos for guests heading to shows at the outdoor open air theatre. When we came back from the show we were abit cold so we loved that we could grab a complimentary hot chocolate from the lounge. They are also showing the World Cup at the hotel Cinema. Touches like this make it a really special place to stay. Can’t wait to visit again!」
