"Good location close to beach & amenities Nice beach house had verything you needed within the property to go self catering if needed, being picky would benefit from small airfryerWe were lucky with the weather, went to beach everyday,nice touch having outside tap to clean sand of shoesLocal pub getsverybusy, definitely need to book, we ventured into Filey, found a fabulous Italian la gondola and Indian curry house was very goodGrandson loved it,would definitely book again "

"I stayed here in August with my two children. It's a really lovely lodge with everything that you could need. We loved all the sea and anchor touches around the lodge. It was very comfortable and the location is really great. It is on a quiet road, but it is also very close to the tennis court, pub, restaurant and access to the beach. The Bay Filey in general is beautiful and kept really clean. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, and also kept very clean. We had an issue with the drains while we were staying at the Blue Anchor, but I contacted Paula, who asked someone to come out as soon as possible to deal with it. She also kept me well informed about what was happening until it was sorted. All the facilities are great, although the swimming pool was overcrowded. We had booked two sessions but we cancelled the second one. It may be better when it is not the peak season. Overall, we would definitely return to the Bay, and the Blue Anchor."

"Nice clean apartment & very quiet considering it was the main summer holidays & the site seemed busy. On entering the apartment there is a handy shoe rack with seating. Bed very comfortable & p!entry of storage in bedroom. Bathroom nice with lovely walk in shower. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. There is no dryer and we didn't want the heating on as the weather was warm but the towels did dry fine on the airy. The cupboards are quite high & i did struggle a bit getting crockery out, but my husband is tall so it was ok Didnt use any of shops/eating places on site so can't comment on those. Overall a lovely 4 days stay & would return."
