「We booked this property for a large family gathering from 3 countries. Four children and a teenager were included in the group. 「The Over the Moon Cottages are an excellent location for convenience of being close to downtown Bala amenities and direct access to the lake across the road. We stayed in Unit #4 which was a one bedroom and more than enough space for the two of us. 「Amy was wonderful host and ambassador for the Port Carling/Muskoka area making some great suggestions as to sights to see. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus!. Any hicups we had were quickly addressed and corrected. One of the best features was sitting on the large dock with a refreshment in hand and watching the antique boats cruising by, all in all a great location for a relaxing holiday, thank you Amy, 」

「My wife and I enjoyed our stay and the wildlife, The cottage was very nice and cozy and the location was scenic and peaceful. Tom made sure our check in and checkout were seamless. He also provided some tips and nearby trail locations. Communication from the host was excellent. 」

「What an amazing place. Located right on the lake with your own mini beach and dock to jump off. I loveed the split with bedroom being upstairs with the fantastic lake view. Very comfortable queen bed and a great tiled shower with lots of hot water! Great bonus besides the bbq and firepit (wood supplied) were the stars at night, it's been a very long time since i've seen the Milkyway and that many. Definitely a bookmark and a place I'll be going back too!!」

「This was a fantastic cozy cottage. It is about a 10 minute pretty drive to Port Carling. We enjoyed using the kitchen which was equipped well. The hot tub felt amazing at the end of the day and was in great working order. The hot tub had a little dirt in the bottom but otherwise seemed clean and they left good instructions on how to use it. The washing machine came in handy to do one load before we left. I would highly recommend this place. _ Donna G.」

「Beautiful spot with incredible view. Just a few minor details overlooked. More cooking pots/pans would be handy, as well as additional tea, towels, washcloths, and dish cloths. A recommendation might be to cut back the trees in the entrance slightly as to allow for a safer exit onto busy roadway. Overall, Wonderful for a relaxing vacation. Paddle boards on site were certainly appreciated. 」

「Loved this property! From the moment we walked in we were amazed by how spacious it was. There’s plenty of room for all of us to spend time together and have our own space. Gorgeous rooms and everything we needed was available. There are a lot of stairs so people with knee problems beware. Viktoriya was a great host and was quick to respond whenever we had questions. 」

「Was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival to a suite which was excellent except it had steep stairs and I was travelling with an elderly person. 「Beautiful cottage on a beautiful location. The boat house allowed us to remain shaded ( or out in the sun) so that we could watch our children enjoy the water trampoline, fish off of the dock, use the paddle board, canoe or kayaks. We had our own boat so added activities were water skiing and wake boarding. Never a dull moment! So many memories.」
