"Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche im Deichhaus verbracht. Das lag an den sehr zuvorkommenden freundlichen Vermietern und an dem äußerst durchdacht eingerichteten und super sauberen Haus. Frau und Herr Koteras haben an alle Eventualitäten gedacht, es gibt so gut wie nichts, was man im Urlaub vermissen könnte. Zu beachten ist vielleicht die sehr steile Treppe ins Obergeschoss mit den Schlafzimmern. Für körperlich eingeschränkte Menschen könnte sie ein Hindernis darstellen. Die Lage der Kate ist wunderbar weit weg von jeglichem Tourismus! Mit dem Wagen ist man jedoch schnell wieder in der Zivilisation, nach Friedrichstadt fährt man nur ein paar Minuten. Und die „größeren“ Ortschaften wie Husum oder Heide sind auch schnell erreicht. Wir haben Skippers Deichhaus als absolute Ruheoase empfunden und uns nach unseren täglichen Ausflügen wunderbar in der Natur entspannt. Besonders genossen haben wir die Rauchschwalben, die direkt an der Haustür genistet haben und die Kühe auf dem Deich. Der kleine Garten lädt zur Siesta unterm Apfelbaum ein und wenn das Wetter mitspielt, kann man den Abend auf der „Rentnerbank“ vorm Haus oder auf der Terrasse ausklingen lassen."
