「Our hosts were delightful. The breakfast was delicious and the fresh fruit was a wonderful addition to the morning. The property was lovely and their dog, Remy, greeted us warmly upon our arrival. It was perfect after a day of driving along the Golden Coast. I would highly recommend!」

「The Strand Inn was a great place to stay in Dunmore East. Sitting right on the beach, the property had a beautiful patio and dining area overlooking the water. The rooms weren’t very big but the bed was super comfortable and if you had a waterfront room than you were able to listen to the waves crash as you slept. We would definitely stay here again. 」

「Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. 」

「Didn't stay as our ferry time was changed due to adverse weather. Went to the hotel to let them know of our changes and they were excellent. Even though we didn't stay, our impression of the hotel was extremely favourable. Would not hesitate to book again.」
