"Just got back from my stay at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and wanted to share a quick review! Overall, I had a great time. The resort was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The food was okay, but I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t feel very authentic. I was really hoping for more Caribbean dishes and fresh local fruits, but most of the options seemed geared more toward tourists. When you visit an island, you really want to experience the local flavors too. The nighttime entertainment could definitely be improved ,it wasn’t very engaging. Also, the teens club didn’t allow my 10-year-old to participate since it’s for ages 13+, which was a bit limiting for families with younger kids. One small thing...the lobby AC was way too cold! That said, despite a few drawbacks, it was still a great stay overall and I enjoyed my time there."

"Beautiful and clean suite. The staff was friendly and accommodating. You can order taxis from front desk which was very convenient. The view was immaculate and the hotel is right off the beach. No complaints."

"The pictures are real!! The 3 decks that face the ocean are amazing. Every night and morning I was greeted by the sound of ocean waves. The home is spacious. I went with my two older teen children. Everyone had a room with their own bathroom which was nice. The location is great. Restaurants and a casino across the street. Maho beach is in walking distance and so are additional restaurants, casinos and a grocery store. There is a private beach at the complex but it is small and a bit of a task to get to. You have walk down some steps and a small climb up a sand dune. We did it once with no desire to go back. The cleaner took awhile to get the house ready, dryer took a long time to dry clothes with multiple runs, and one room's toilet did not have a seat cover so my daughter used the spare bathroom. The toaster did not work on one side and the fridge smelled funny. Small things but for the price I paid, I would have expected that these would not have been issues."

"The room was bright and clean, the bathroom was ok except for the toilet which didn’t flush properly , the balcony was awesome with a great view , we did have a ceiling leak after a heavy night of rain but it was near the balcony door so it didn’t bother us. The place could use some paint and updating other than that we really enjoyed our stay there "

"Flew in from JFK and was great! Hotel is very close to airport. Planes fly over very close all day long. You could even walk to the airport to the hotel if you wanted to. Beach is beautiful and the pool was awesome. Rooms have kitchens in them and there was a grocery store right across the street. Liquor store is a two minute walk. Restaurant on the property food was great; service was a little slow but when sitting watching the waves crash was relaxing. Plenty of pool chairs."

"Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking places looked exactly how it was online check in process was smooth environment was safe clean warm and welcoming highly recommend we did the room with the ocean view "

"Place was amazing, great location, beautiful beaches in close proximity. Parking was a bit tight, but overall excellent experience, one of my favorite VRBOs of all time."
