Our guesthouse was named around 1914. In the Vogtland region, once a mining area, pig iron was refined—a process called "Frischen." Special "Frischhütten" were built for this, producing wrought iron and steel.



Our cozy guesthouse offers 7 double rooms and 3 single rooms, each with shower, WC, and TV, as well as 2 holiday apartments for 2 to 4 people. The apartments feature a living room, kitchenette, bedroom, shower, WC, and hairdryer.



Relax in our solarium or the Physio-Therm infrared cabin, or enjoy the outdoors right outside our door. Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz is located in the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park, a state-recognized resort. Dense forests invite you to unwind while hiking, cycling, or skiing. Many sights and hiking destinations promise a varied holiday.



Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz is also the birthplace of astronaut Dr. Sigmund Jähn, the first German in space. Many national and international guests from the space industry have stayed with us.



After a day of adventure, our restaurant serves lunch and dinner with traditional German cuisine so you can recharge.
