"The stay was relaxing, comfortable, homely in the best way..we loved the heated pool & games offered & the arcade took me back..ha ha we played super marios bros original first game & loved it.. the first night we went out swimming & Missunn came out to introduce herself calling me by name (Mlelissa) & remembered our talked prior to me coming. via personal texts🙂 & to top it off we came in from swimming & was welcomed by the smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies hot out the oven from Missunn. David was our greater& host he gave us a run down &some neat history & it just felt like u knew him already.. just a great couple & the fellow guests were all so friendly inviting & just chill like we were planning on doing. Thank you both again it was the best experience & our first time staying in a b& b.. you guys rock we will.come again sometime & will recommend you guys"

"This Montross home fit all 22 of us very comfortably! It is well equipped with outdoor furniture and water equipment and the finished bottom floor allowed for kids to have their own space. Plenty of room for all of us to cook and eat together as well. Great for adults and kids."

"This was my first VRBO experience and I loved how easy it was. The cottage is rustic and simple but that’s exactly what I was looking for. I ended up not making it to the winery, but it was an easy drive into Colonial Beach and over to George Washington’s birthplace. And a cozy place to curl up and read during the afternoon thunderstorm!"

"The house was very nice inside and out. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The key lock box was not near the front door like described in the check in. It was on the fence next to the walkway. We didn’t have internet during our whole stay. The communication with the host was a bit slow to respond about the interest problem which never was fixed."

"We have stayed at this lovely cottage twice now. It is the perfect home in Colonial Beach for a family of 4. Having a kitchen and laundry are an added bonus for our family. The yard and porch are beautiful additional spaces. Your hosts are responsive and have provided a clean and updated property for a relaxing getaway."
