"Stayed for 2 nights in a Cozy Room. Although next to the lift, there was no noise at all. The food was cooked and presented really well. Excellent choice at breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and informative. The restaurant staff on our first night worked particularly hard under very difficult circumstances. Only two servers, one on her first day, had no help on an extremely busy service. Management should have realised this and stepped in. They coped very well and did an amazing job."

"Our stay was for 3 nights in a comfy double room. This type of room was up 3 flight of stays (No Lift) so not suitable if stairs an issue with cases. Room was clean and bathroom was modern with a powerful shower. Found bed not that comfy, but would stay again and try a different room. Full Breakfast was lovely and can be altered to suit. Evening menu could have more choice and not very generous for the price. Menu would be better if changes can be made and not so much fish on menu. All staff were fantastic and friendly and could not do enough for you. The hotel is a great location to visit nearby Mudeford, Poole and Bournemouth."

"The staff were very polite and attentive, and approachable. Unfortunately the grounds resembled a scrap yard, and the jacuzzi is in desperate need of a new cover. Suite 1 was our 4 night abode, very stylish inside but again let down by a very rusty and dodgy sun awning. With a refresh to the grounds, and tidy up of the garages this would be a wonderful place to stay."

"We enjoyed a wonderful four days at this property. It's a proper home with real soul. Lovely artwork on the walls and everything you could possibly need. Looks better in real life than in the photo's. The location was superb. Great to soak everything in from one of the balconies and just a short stroll to the beach for early morning swims. We parked the car and didn't use it again until we left. We walked into Christchurch one day, got the ferry across to Hengistbury Head for a big coastal walk and also walked along the beach to Highcliffe Castle another day. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Amber was great and we'll definitely be back for another visit!"

"We’ve had a fabulous week in Highcliffe. The house was a good size for 7 of us, plus 2 dogs and has a very well equipped kitchen (although a bigger cafetière would be great!). Beds very comfy.We spent a lot of time in the garden thanks to fabulous weather. It was perfect with a good sized dining table, BBQ and plenty of seating and loungers. The garden is enclosed for dogs. Proximity to the beach surpassed expectation - especially on a busy and hot bank holiday weekend. So great to be able to walk and not worry about parking. We enjoyed both Highcliffe beach and walking to the Noisy Lobster at Avon Beach. Only thing to be aware of is that you need to cross a busy road to get to the beach, but then it’s a safe walk after that."
