「I don’t usually write reviews. But this lodge was way out of my expectations. My experience with the lodge was fantastic. Every staffs were very nice and sincere. The energy vibe at the place was warm and welcoming. The food was AMAZING. The lodge only host 5 rooms. So It was very private. You could pretty much enjoy the entire property by yourself without sharing space.」

「We had a wonderful stay! The staff was kind and attentive and our guide and tracker on the game drives was amazing. We saw lots of wildlife and had a relaxing visit as everything was taken care of for us and zero planning was required upon arrival. Would definitely return in the future! 」

「We first stayed at Bongani Mountain Lodge 15 years ago and returned when we saw it on special over new year. Not much has changed in 15 years. We had a nice time - the food was good and our ranger and tracker were pleasant and informative. I would not rate this lodge as luxury. The room, with a queen size bed, had seen better days and with the thatch roof and poor choice of tiles it always seemed a bit grubby. The game viewing is not great. 「This is a rustic camp. I stayed at one of the tent cabins. I loved the quiet, solitude and being in the trees. I woke up to birds chirping in the morning and numerous animal noises throughout the day and night with the occasional monkey jumping on the roof. I enjoyed the camping vibe that added to my Africa stay. Andre was a excellent host and helped arrange day trips. My only issue was hot water and I believe Andre fixed that issue.」

「Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger.」
