Mowich Lake

The hotel is located in an excellent spot in walking distance to shopping, Pikes Market and the monorail. There's no microwave in the room, so if you have kids and need to warm up food, it's an extra charge to have put in your room. The second elevator is not working and apparently it has been down for some time, about a year. Although, the hotel is not a resort or offered anything special, guests are charged $20 per night. The front desk couldn't really explain why this exorbitant fee was added to the bill.

This is more of a modern style hotel than a large legacy hotel. It’s also a combined hotel and private residences. No restaurant, no in-hotel store for emergency toiletries, drinks, etc. (what I meant by “modern style hotel”). Hot water meh.

We loved the cleanliness and the condition of the property. Our room was very comfortable and the towels were large and soft. The location of the property was so convenient to downtown area. Although 3rd Street can be a little rough due to people camped out on the sidewalk, we never felt unsafe. We would absolutely stall here again.
