「As we were driving a series of long winding roads to this property we said to ourselves, “this place is going to have to be really nice to be worth the drive.” And it was. "Not only was our room incredible, but the entire staff, the on-site restaurant, and the charming little gift shop were all wonderful. We stayed in the "HOKULANI" room. It had a beautiful balcony where we could watch the birds perched in the ‘Ohi‘a Lehua trees and listen to them sing. Warming up by the fireplace in the room allowed us to truly relax. The Hawaiian quilt on the bed was stunning, and we loved the warm, woody feel of the entire room. Every meal we ordered at the restaurant was delicious. Although we are not very confident in our English, the staff were all so kind and helpful, which we deeply appreciated. We stayed for just one night as part of our honeymoon, but next time, we definitely want to stay much longer. The access to the Volcano was also perfect. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our stay so special."
