"Coffee pot was cracked replaced immediately. The bedroom bed was as big as the room and the tv pulled out of a cabinet and the doors did not open very far so you had to duck under the doors or close the doors when leaving the far side of the bed. The TV’s were old and tv choices were awful. It is an awesome location to all lifts. The room was updated."

"A great hotel wth lots of character and charm. Excellent spacious suites with all necessary amenities. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The free shuttle bus to the village is a real bonus. A great place to stay during a visit to Palisades."

"The house was very clean, welcoming, cozy, and was filled with so many cooking utensils! My group enjoyed our stay and loved that there was a shuttle that takes you to the Palisades resort. Mike was also very kind and super responsive! The reason for the 4/5 stars is when we woke up the first morning of our stay we woke up to the toilet flooding the bathroom in the main master bedroom upstairs. We were able to get ahold of Mike and let him know about the situation (luckily we were able to turn the water off for the toilet). He then was able to get in contact with the property manager who then gave me a call and let me know a plumber would be stopping by. The plumber did confirm one of the parts that connected the water valve from the wall to the toilet was broken/loose and that is what cause the water flooding. We had an intense morning dealing with all of the water. That being said, the minus one star was more about the inconvenience that it caused that morning trying to get ahold of someone and cleaning up as best we could. But aside from that Mike (the owner) was super kind and was able to give us some tips about extra towels to use. All in all I would recommend this house and the property owners to anyone looking to book in this area! "

"Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Hot tubs were out of service so they waived the $28 per day resort fee (I didn't use parking either). The restaurant is closed Tues/Wed which was 2 of our 4 day stay. I would have liked to eat there but didn't get the chance. The shower door wouldnt close, so we had a large pool of water every morning in bathroom. Beds were okay. Location is excellent."

"We were so looking forward to our stay. We checked in at the front desk around 7:30 pm and went to our room to await our bags to be delivered by the bell hop. Finally, at 8:30, the bags arrived so we headed downstairs to grab some dinner. Upon checkin we were told that the restaurants closed at 9 pm. First stop was Sandy’s Pub but it was CLOSED due to a private party. At Six Peaks restaurant at 8:45 we were told the kitchen had closed so we could not be given a table. We went back to the front desk-8:50 pm by now- and were told that we were out of luck but were told by the young, pony-tailed manager that we could order Door Dash in Truckee. A nice assistant manager told us that every restaurant in Truckee but Taco Bell also closes at 9 pm. I wish the check in person had said that one restaurant was closed & the other could close early when we checked in. We would have waited to call for the bags until after dinner. Other than the helpful assistant manager the staff was indifferent to their actions. Unacceptable for a high priced resort property in a world class destination. "
