「My friend and I enjoyed our stay. The only issue was the thermostat controlling the stove. It was either too cold or too hot. Maybe more specific instructions for operation. Thanks for the stay!」

「We moved 27 years ago from NH. John was born in New London and raised in Sunapee. We raised our 2 kids in Henniker. Rodd cottage made an amazing place to bring our family together. Peaceful and relaxing. Lots of things to do too.Thank you to the Rodd family for sharing.」

The only know is go shopping prior to arriving. We went to Shaws that was 17 min away. It was so grossly over priced. Maybe due to the remoteness of the area....other than that this was a fantastic getaway. 」

「Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area. 」

「This cozy cottage was perfect for our recent visit to visit family in Elkins, NH. It is located a short walk to Pleasant Lake for swimming and boating (in good weather). Steph was so attentive and helpful and provided many wonderful amenities in the cottage. This is our go-to place to stay whenever we visit the area.」

「The location was great just off highway with town down the road for food gas etc. Owner provided everything possible for stay. Stayed in touch throughout to check on any needs. The road to the cabin was dirt and had some serious ruts but that wasn’t her responsibility. Entry would be iffy for mobility impaired. Tub could use a grab bar. Otherwise a great stay. 」

「My mother and sister needed a much earned vacation and this little cabin on Bradley lake was perfect. They loved waking in the morning and looking at Mt Kearsarge in the distance with the loons floating on the lake in front of them. Thanks for the stay.」

「My family of four traveled for a quick fall foliage tour mid October. We used this house as our base instead of staying at multiple places. This meant we drove a little more each day but we got to wake up and come home to this magical place. Seriously. We wanted to come home early each day to spend more time here. It’s quiet, enchanting, spotless, and filled with charm. I cannot stress how beautiful and peaceful it is being directly on the lake. We will definitely be back. 」
