Beautiful modern lodge with gracious hosts. The property has a lot of indoor and outdoor public areas to relax with a glass of wine and book in hand. Rebecca and Jason are attentive, anticipating their clients needs, and are at the ready to make great dining and sightseeing recommendations. The private cedar hot tubs room side are to die for. Highly recommended.

You wouldn’t guess it when you pull up, but the place is new and spotless. Great and super friendly service. Walking distance to restaurants.
Would stay there again.

Our hosts were very welcoming and they tended to our every need. My wife even got to play with their kittens! Very nice place and great conversations and breakfast!

Very friendly and attentive host. Impeccable service. Clean and spacious rooms. Wonderful dinner in the B & B: Go for it. It costs 70 Dollars and it is worth every penny!

It is a bit of a hike if you want to walk to town, but the accommodations were wonderful. Great view, and could hear waves lapping the lake at night. Very nice.

The property and rooms are beautiful. The location is amazing as well. Breakfast in the morning is great and feeding the Alpacas is a great experience. The hot tub was so nice after a day of hiking!
I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

I stayed for 3 nights during local trail running race event. The place is really tidy and well maintained. I sensed the owners' passion for this place and Tongariro region. The kitchen is spacious, has large fridges and everything you need. You can bring your own food and cook without any hassles. The lounge is even better with pool table and table tennis table. There are two decent restaurants, a petrol station and 4-square supermarket nearby, so you can find all the essentials.

The woman at the front desk (Sharon) was the nicest person I have ever spoken to in my life. I called the day before my check-in as I was planning to arrive later than when the front desk was open (they close at 9pm) and she was so pleasant and sweet on the phone. She gave me detailed instructions on how to get what I needed upon arrival to get into my room and where to park on the premises. When I arrived the following night, everything was extremely easy and exactly as Sharon described. The...

Maggie was especially friendly and helpful. She upgraded us since we were staying two nights. The place was very spacious and amenities were good. Very comfortable.
