「Great place to stay. Restaurant was really good! Had 3 meals there, and all were delicious and carefully thought out and executed.
My only issue was with the young host at the restaurant one evening, I think her name was Celi. Barely a greeting, barely any eye contact, curt, and short. No grace or sense of hospitality. This position is so important…it is the first experience your guest has with the restaurant, and it was a huge fail.

「The location was great as it sat on a cliff of the Columbia River. The grounds were impeccable with beautiful flowers and trees. They had Adirondack chairs on the cliff so you could enjoy the view. It was fun watching kite surfers in the river. We didn’t realize Hood River is known as pthe top kite surfing capitol of the world. The bed was very comfortable. The buildings are older but well kept up. Wonderful stay. 」
