"Our stay at River Retreat was incredible. The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and recently remodeled and just so nice. The wonderful views of the river and property were enjoyed by everyone. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for relaxing. It feels very remote, yet is just a few minutes from Mount Airy main street for shopping and restaurants. Perfect place to stay and certainly will be back!"

Nice appliances, nice tv's, speedy internet for being on the side of a mountain, nice furniture ( was very impressed with the furniture, towels, bathroom cleanliness, nice extra blankets, utensils ).
