"parking is a bit confusing for the first day, someone at the door did not help to unload but did bring cart to wheel luggage into hotel. since they using public parking they need to sign in parking garage to show new comer what elevator to take to hotel. we use wrong one get out to street and walked around the corner to get back to hotel, summer is not a problem but winter time can be. also the location as in Centric not the most desirable one. at least this one breakfast is included. if I have only 2 choices I would pick Centric over Place."

"The staff at the hotel were above and beyond. The food and service in the Alice Bar were absolutely excellent. The hotel room could definitely use a renovation/makeover. Electricity on one side of the room was intermittent. Bathroom mirror was damaged."

"Great location between Chinatown and the Quartier des Spectacles, so you have plenty of options for coffee, lunch and diner. The room is oddly shaped so I couldn't watch the TV from the bed. That's not so bad given the gorgeous view over the city."

"Spent two nights here in September. Good hotel for tourists. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to Old Montreal. As far as the rooms go, didn’t spend a ton of time there but the bathroom (and the whole rooms too) was clean, the shower worked great and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a decent bar in the hotel lobby. For a short tourist stay in downtown Montreal it is a nice, clean and affordable option. The room I stayed in did smell a bit like smoke on check-in but running the room fan for a few mins."
