「Stayed five nights in basement room. Entire house has a distinctive Victorian flair. A full cold breakfast is served ... yogurt, berries, croissants, bread, jam, coffee, sweet rolls, etc. Afternoon wine and eats are nice ... mixed nuts, chocolate, dried berries ... wine pretty basic. Small chocolate cookies for later in the evening. TV channels very basic. Extremely well located. All staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.」

「This inn is very nice place for my feeling of nature by the sea. I’m particularly recommend of the hospitality the staff!! There is a bus stop nearby.

「Only complaint is very low water pressure in the shower. very upscale nice hotel. Keep that in mind.」

「wonderful location and staff」

「Really quiet. I recommend.」

「Nothing particular」

「Our Room with a King and fireplace was good except our gas fireplace did not work. When we talked to the gentleman in the office - he was terrific, understanding, cordial! While we went to dinner in town, he found another, larger king bed room and on first level no stairs for us, he personally checked that the fireplace worked! So he made our stay even nicer than expected, for which we were grateful!」

「We stayed on the third floor, had a view of the ocean. Close enough to see, but far away from the traffic to be quiet. Staff was lovely, cookies were in the lobby. Was very clean. Two minute walk to Lovers Point and the riding/walking trail into Monterey. I would definitely stay there again.」
