"Becky and Ben are incredibly thoughful! We didnt get the pleasure of meeting them, but just by our stay we were able to tell that they are one of the best hosts. Everything was so well thought of! Instructions and near by entertainment or things to do are very clearly written in a detailed binder left at the counter for you to read through. The entire house was very clean organized and spotless. We made sure to do our best in leaving it as we found it, because the effort that Becky and Ben have put into this home are obvious and very much appreciated by us. We did get some unfortunate weather which caused us to have to stay indoors and not enjoy much of the surrounding nature and trails, but there was more than enough entertainment indoors! Hot tub was very clean, fully functional and set up at 100F upon our arrival. We got to enjoy a beautiful evening of star gazing while in the hit tub. BBQ was fully stocked with propane and the kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary utensils for any kind of cooking! We look forward to coming back here in the summer as im sure it'll be a whole other experience that will be just as enjoyable, and we'll be able to enjoy even more of the beautiful nature around us! "The room was clean, the fireplace was a nice touch as the weather was really bad on the day of arrival. The front desk clerk was really friendly. Breakfast was basic but no need for anything extravagant. Coffee was good! Pool area was also clean. One thing I do have to say is, I liked that they didnt have carpeting in the room. It just made sense! Its cleaner and you dont have to worry about any mysterious stains!"

"I cannot say enough about our hosts and this property. Communication from our hosts was top notch, ensuring we knew how to find the property, clear check-in and checkout instructions, asking if there was anything we needed, recommending things to do around the area, and even personalizing our welcome card. From the moment we stepped out of the car, we could hear the waves of beautiful lake Huron crashing against the shore. This charming, historic, rustic cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Our late night beachy bonfire was incredible, we saw the sun set over lake Huron, AND saw the moon set over the lake, which I have never seen before, it was SO cool. The stars at night were breathtaking, and this property was a rock hunters dream! Within minutes of stepping on the beach, I found two beautiful Petoskey stones. We loved reading about the history of the cabin and enjoying all the nautical decor. The cabin was equipped with anything we could need, from coffee, games, and movies, to mosquito spray and a lighter for a beach bonfire. The fall decorations were adorable and you could tell they were freshly placed, which made our experience feel very personalized. You can truly feel how much our hosts enjoy and value the guests experience. I'd love to visit again, it was the perfect birthday getaway weekend. Not to mention all the adorable little cities nearby, each with their own charm, AMAZING food, lakeside views, and unmatched hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!"

"Thrilled to have found this gem! We were looking for a place where 12 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs could celebrate an 80th birthday and this location did not disappoint!! It was less than 2 hours from home and everyone had time to roam, rest and relax. We had a catered meal on Saturday night so didn’t do much cooking but the house was well equipped for everything … lots of dishes and flatware!! We lucked out with weather and were outside most of the time but did enjoy the basement activities and hot tub. The stairs to beach were a bonus and kids loved exploring. Would love to come back!"
