「I heard about Benmiller Inn over 25 years ago and had always wanted to stay there. Unfortunately, it seems I should have visited 25 years ago. This is no longer a luxury retreat and I found many of the glowing reviews quite misleading. Our stay got off to a poor start when the unenthusiastic front desk couldn't locate our reservation. 「They were having the place painted. We had to move our vehicle. Our room was in the middle of the work area and on the 1st night the painters were banging around outside our room until after 9 pm. We had the jacuzzi suite. There was nowhere to put our clothes. Two drawers and one had extra pillows. The other was extra blankets. On the 2nd day the tv didn't work and was not fixed until the following day just before checkout. There was nobody at the office to talk to at checkout except a maid who...
