「What a great time! The A Frame is everything it’s claimed to be and more. Beautiful outdoor space, charming seaside decor, and a full kitchen for those who like to cook. The staircase leading to the beach is definitely for the sure-footed, but our group was up for the adventure and made several trips down there—watch your step! The welcome package had everything we needed prior to our arrival, so all that was left to do was enjoy. Thanks to Gavin and Laura for a great experience.」

「First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

「This little gem is just out of reach of town but close enough to get whats needed to enjoy being under a starry sky! Enough room outside to keep two little girls happy and room inside to just enjoy watching a movie and relaxing. There are so many different beaches to enjoy along the lake side. Highly recommend and hope more people can enjoy the cottage the way we did.」

「Had a really good time! The property is exactly like in the photos. Great yard and good locations. Cleanliness probably 8/10 - perfectly fine. Floors were a little dirty (bring indoor slides) but bedrooms were perfect. It's a cottage. Only complaint - the landfill where we were instructed to take our garbage to (probably ~20mins from the property) was closed, so we had to bring it back with us. Little frustrating but not the end of the world. Easy check in / check out. Enough cooking...

「Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every single one! The cottage grounds are just lovely, and so is the view of the lake. Lots of surrounding nature, including cheerful birds and an adorable family of chipmunks nearby. Really enjoyed walking along the beach, and visiting the towns nearby. We did encounter an appliance acting strangely, but after contacting the property manager she helped resolve the issue.」

「This cozy carriage house is the perfect location for visiting the area. It's a quick drive to beautiful beaches for long walks. Halfway between Grand Bend and Bayfield there's lots to do and see. We had terrific dinners at Paddington's Pub (Grand Bend) and The Black Dog Bistro (Bayfield). The carriage house is cozy and spotless. Suki is a wonderful hostess and had lots of suggestions for touring in the area. We highly recommend! Maureen and Dave」

「Fantastic last minute find after our initial booking was cancelled. We absoutley loved the little village of Bayfield. We enjoyed our early morning bike rides to Clan Gregor Square and Pioneer Park in the afternoon to watch the sunset. The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay away from home perfect. 「The rustic cozy log cabin was a beautiful backdrop to spend time with my wife and friends. The cabin provided enough space for personal privacy while allowing time to socialize and nurture friendship. 「Our first impression was just”Wow”! That was from the outside. Going inside, there were more Wows! and “Look at this”, and “This place is awesome!” I would call the architecture and decor Scandinavian minimalist-in the best possible sense.The cottage is filled with light from the floor to ceiling windows. And we definitely got the message from the owners that they wanted us to enjoy ourselves and feel at home. We did both. Would highly recommend this cottage for a quiet getaway.」

「This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home.」
