The hot tub was incredible. Perfect time of year in October. The house was clean and the perfect size for me, my husband, and our pup. Walking around the nearby lake was beautiful as well. Definitely recommend.
Had a wonderful evening in a relaxing location. A comfortable and cozy tree house in a quiet location close to many activities to do. Blue Ridge is a fun and charming city with shopping and dining for all!
My husband and I stayed in the treehouse for our anniversary. It was a great, cozy stay only a short drive from downtown Blue Ridge. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor spaces.
The host was also very responsive. I got home and realized I had left my keys. I contacted Ryan, and he mailed them back to me.
We had the best time staying here recently! I traveled with my partner and my dog and all three of us had a fantastic time! It’s close enough to downtown blue ridge, but far enough away to feel private. It was a little loud because of the construction happening on the cabin next to us, which was setting the dog across the street off but i’m sure the construction will be finished soon and that won’t be a problem much longer. I do wish the appliances were a little better, it took double the time to cook in the microwave/oven. I also wish the washing machine was working during our stay. The location is so lovely though, we were so close to so many wonderful hikes! There’s also a place only ten minutes away called Project Chimps that had an AMAZING hiking trail, and you could hear the chimps during the entire hike! This is such a nice and peaceful getaway, I can’t wait to come back in the future!

Liked: Amenities, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
My family liked the look and lay out of the tree house, the fire pit ,the hot tubi and the ease of communication with the host.
It takes about 8 mins to walk to the lake.
We did not like the very unsafe parking which was steep and unpaved and also very unsafe to walk up and down to. I almost fell down several times going to my car which we ended up parking below the uphill lot.
Then comes bedtime!! My daughter had to sleep in the bed with us because the loft had a certain smell, was dirty with pet hair all over the pillows and beddings and dead insects on the floor with small flies flying around. I had to sweep the floor on the loft and left it there for the cleaner to see so they can do a better job next time. I also had to wrap the pillows with the clean towels in the main bed where we all slept just so we are not inhaling those pet hairs. I don’t know what those small tiny dark spots are in all the beds, I prayed and hoped those are not bed bugs! We had to sleep in our long sleeve and long pants with socks and hair cover just to make sure!
I asked my husband if we could just leave that night and go home but he did not want to drive through the mountains at night!
I wish I can attach pictures here!
We would not recommend unless the owner makes changes for other people's sake which I tried to tell him but there was no response!
Had a wonderful time in Ryan’s cabin. Not far from the main road so it’s easy to get to and from many fun recreational spots. Had all the essentials needed plus a few extra. Would recommend to anyone who wants a cozy getaway:)
Got a chance to spend two nights here, and it was worth every penny. Great house with a private feeling, but you’re only a couple of minutes walk to the lake or a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. Thanks for having us!
Absolutely wonderful !! All I wanted during my trip is to experience the mountains as they are. I didn’t want a hilton inn or another hotel/resourt - I enjoy experiences on vacation and that’s exactly what was provided - with a luxury feel! It’s always fun to see and experience how the locals live. This “tree house” is beautiful - the decor and comfortability was 10/10. I truly enjoyed the shower, comfy bed and hot tub with fireplace and TV. Every amenity was perfect and available to be used. Ryan was also very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. Extra 5 stars for being pet friendly as my doggy had the time of his life - if you are not pet friendly, maybe not for you as there’s many furry friends in the area! The driveway is a little steep but that’s probably only true for those of us not used to driving in the mountains hahaha It’s not any steeper than the drive to scenery points or the grocery store. I was able to successfully navigate after the first try with Ryan’s help/advice. Brass town bald is only 45 min away if you’re up for seeing the tallest peak in georgia. All together, I definitely enjoyed this place and truly did not want to leave. It made me reconsider my “city life” after many emotional moments. Quiet living is good for the soul

The road up to the treehouse was impossible to get up.in vehicles . Just spun out…Very Dangerous! Should be paved! We had to park half way down the road, where it was obvious that everyone gad been parking,
and drag out belongings up and down the hill. Had to leave the final day because it began to rain and we would have risk having to be towed out.
