Crystal Blue is a modern lake house on the sunset shore of beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. Nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, this rustic modern-style cabin has everything you need to enjoy a mountain lake experience with all the conveniences of a contemporary house. Bartholomew (the caribou) welcomes you to the ultimate great room with an open-concept kitchen/dining/living room all with an incredible view of the lake. The wood burning fireplace is ideal for cool evenings or cold winter days. The main floor master bedroom boasts a comfy queen bed with the most fantastic view of Lake Blue Ridge and includes a private bath with a 6x6 steam shower to rest those sore muscles after a day of outdoor fun. Laundry and a half bath complete the main level.
Upstairs you will enjoy two large bedrooms with queen beds, a twin bunk bed in the loft, and a full bath with a soaker tub. The lower level includes a fourth bedroom with the best view of Lake Blue Ridge and a full bath. The oversized rec room has a gas fireplace, 65" TV, shuffleboard table, Pac-Man, game table, refrigerator for snacks and beverages, and a double sleeping cubby. Step outside the lower level to a covered patio beside the 8-person hot tub and sunbathing deck. Outdoor games are ready for your family's enjoyment.
Take a leisurely stroll to the lake where you will find a huge firepit and access to the lakeshore with a level area near the fire pit which is great for a game of corn hole or just sitting lakeside waiting for the beautiful sunset. A few steps down to the wide lakeshore with a rare gentle slope into the water which is great for kids to play. Lake toys, including kayaks and paddleboards, are all available for guests. And, for experienced boaters, a 2021 Sylvan pontoon boat is available for rent. Please ask about boat rental if you are interested.
The sun sets right before your eyes over the crystal blue waters during the spring and summer months. This spectacular view is visible from every room in the house, but best at the lakeside fire pit or from the outdoor space. Last but not least is the outdoor room directly off the main living room. This is the best room in the house with comfy furniture, a wood-burning fireplace, a flatscreen TV above the mantle for avid sports fans, rocking chairs, and a tall table with stools.
