Hum, le restaurant !

Hôtel situé sur la place du village avec une belle façade Bon accueil à l'arrivée et dirigé vers le parking privé. Les chambres au look un peu vieillot mais assez confortables et plutôt calme Très bons pointS pour le restaurant, une grande salle, proposant 2 menus dont 1 gastronomique de qualité Très bon souvenir

Leuk verblijf gehad.

Het was een verouderd hotel. Typisch Franse stijl van vroeger. Je kon er in de bar iets drinken. De kamer was klein, maar alles wat je nodig hebt, was er en het was netjes. 'S avonds kon je daar lekker eten. Voor het ontbijt had je croissant, koekje met chocolade, baguette, kaas, confituur, stukje fruit, enz.. De eigenaars en het personeel waren heel vriendelijk. Als we terug in de buurt zijn, zouden we niet twijfelen om terug te gaan.

Excellent séjour

Ce petit hôtel est situé au calme à 15 minutes en voiture au sud d'Epernay . Il est un peu vétuste niveau déco et aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. De plus, les rideaux ne sont pas vraiment occultants. Hormis cela, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont propres, la literie est très confortable, l'accueil est impeccable le personnel est serviable. Mais la plus grosse surprise réside dans le restaurant de l'hôtel. Nous avons rarement aussi bien mangé ! Il y avait - du cocktail au dessert - une qualité des ingrédients et une technicité dans la cuisine que je vois rarement. Il y avait toujours quatre ou cinq éléments dans l'assiette par plat, tous très bien cuisinés et complementaires . Il n'y a pas de menu enfant, mais composé à la carte sur demande. L'addition générale a été tout à fait correcte. Nous garderons clairement un excellent souvenir de notre séjour dans cet hôtel.

Would love to go again

Nice hotel although the decor is rather dated (1970s?). Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The meal we had was lovely - evidently the hotel is owned by caterers (and there is a boulangerie next door).

Good with great restaurant

Have stayed before and it is excellent value for money. The attached restaurant is very good too. The location isa convenient drop-off and there are some local walks to do around the village to wind down after driving.

Une chambre pleine de mouche et tombant en ruine. Aucun réseau mobile ou wifi pour travailler. Bienvenue dans cet hôtel de campagne où on vous accueille dans un bar tabac sans sourire et avec un grand bazar sonore.

L’accueil n'est guère chaleureux, il faut traverser le bar pour accéder aux chambres. Pas de Wifi dans les chambres. La salle de bain est limite sale. Les WC son t placés de sorte que j'ai dû m'assoir de travers pour ne pas me retrouver les genoux dans le mur, et je mesure 1m60.

leider war das Zimmer sehr klein

leider war das Zimmer sehr klein und könnte auch eine Renovierung vertragen. Auch ein fröhliches Fest unter unserem Zimmer hat uns etwas schlaf gekostet. Dafür hat uns die hotelkueche total entschädigt. Das Essen war einfach super!!!

Great place to stay after a long drive

We drove through France on our way from switzerland to calais on a Sunday. As we got closer to the town we realised everything was closed. Fortunately, when we arrived, the English speaking owner informed us the bar and restaurant were open. The restaurant was excellent and not expensive. The room was basic, but perfect for what we needed. This is a great place to stay for a night or two.

Disappointing

Booked a large room and bed, given a small room and a small bed, I'm tall and so is my partner so this matters. Decor was 1970s with string wallpaper on the walls and stained dirty carpets. Wifi non existent in all rooms and areas except bar where very poor. Evening meal was good.
