"Incredible idyllic home set on ten beautiful acres. The hostess was incredibly accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The charming family who renovated this 800 year old mini castle spent five years renovating, and it shows. We loved every minute of our visit and we would make a point of returning. Bravo! Mercy!"

"We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night. Breakfast was lovely, freshly baked breads, house made yogurt and jams, fresh squeezed OJ, local honey, ham and cheeses and fresh fruit. We enjoyed dinner at the Auberge...

"The owners were really extremely nice and made us feel very welcome. It was a 15 minute drive into Rocamadour to see the Balloons which was not ideal. Small room advertised by Expedia as Junior deluxe!?"

"The room was very clean and the area was quiet. We left before breakfast so no rating there. The Château restaurant was not open, perhaps because it is April? However, Ginette Restaurant was open one night and it was quite good. The location is fantastic for the cathedral. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants and shops in town but the walk is beautiful."

"Great location and a really lovely hotel. We stayed in Room 16, which overlooks the courtyard and has a beautiful view of the Citadel of Rocamadour, especially at night when it’s all lit up. Dropping our bags off was very straightforward thanks to the hotel’s drop-off point, and we were lucky enough to find parking on the nearby street. "Superb hotel. Very well managed. Clean,comfortable, quiet and possibly the simplest and most expeditous check in of any hotel we have stayed in. Breakfast was also very good and the location of the hotel makes it easy to find. Charging for electric vehicles within a few metres of the front door. "Wow, what else can I say. Looked great online but the promo did not do it justice. We gave it a try because it looked comfy and was close to the Gouffre de Padirac, but we would go out of our way to stay there again even without the visiting the Gouffre again (which we would probably do anyway) ! We had not planned on the breakfast but SO GLAD we did, an amazing basket of fresh baked breakfast goods, juice, coffee and artisinal jam."
