This place is so welcoming, comfortable, and accommodating. I had the best vacation I’ve had in a decade. Ulysses was amazing and helping me find things to do and relax with my pet. I will definitely be back. This is my go to place in Monteverde! I live in Costa Rica and highly recommend

We stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. The room was clean, and had great views. The site has its own walking trail where you can spot birds and other animals. A decent walk to town but was it was doable.

Great bungalow hotel

This is a very nice, bungalow style hotel on a hill with a great view. We were greeted by a woman who was very friendly, spoke excellent English and were immediately checked in our room. It was available and clean. It had a great view, a nice little three-quarter of a mile trail off of one of the parking areas into the jungle and down to their lagoon. Breakfast was very good, it was a great stay. My only downside is it didn’t have air-conditioning, but there was a nice breeze when you open the door and the window.

We liked the big veranda and the comfortable chairs that overlooked the property and hills. The room was dated and very standard. The step-down to the little patio is a way for some people to twist their ankle if they are not careful. Some neighborhood youth used the area behind our area to practice riding their loud motorcycles.

Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes later they ring the hotel phone to remind us to hurry and get out.

Great customer service.

We weren't able to stay for our booked nights but we've been grateful for the manager as I was sent on an ambulance on emergency medical situation in Monteverde. Instead of checking in, we went straight to the nearest clinic due to severe pain and was sent on an ambulance to a hospital in San Jose. The manager has been understanding to refund us the money. We would have loved to stay there but due to unforeseen circumstance, we were unable to even see the place. I'm really thankful for the staff/manager for being understanding. If we get to come back to Costa Rica, I'll sure will stay there and recommend this place. Thank you.
