Huisjes zijn wel aan opknapbeurten toe, maar heeft voor ons niets afgedaan aan een paar heerlijke dagen op doortocht door toscane. Enige nadeel was dat er totaal geen telefoonbereik was. En in het huisje instabiele wifi. Maar zodra je het dorpje uit reed was er weer bereik. Voor de dames wel even omschakelen ;-) Maar het zwembad maakte voor hun veel goed"

"Wir hatten eine superschöne Zeit als Gruppe. Besonders hat den Kindern der Pool gefallen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit den Gastgebern war super und hat uns viel in der Planung und Vorbereitung geholfen. Ebenso hatten wir ein tollen Frühstück und toskanisches 3 Gänge Menü was die Gastgeber liebevoll vorbereitet haben. Absolute Empfehlung von uns und ein großes Dankeschön für die tolle Zeit."

"Wir waren mit 6 Personen für zwei Wochen Anfang August zu Gast bei Familie Genovesi. War ein toller Familienurlaub! Alles war schön sauber, ausreichend Platz im Haus / in der Unterkunft (Il Girasole). Liebe Begrüßung, tolle Einweisung / Übergabe mit Infomappe in der man später auch noch mal das Wichtigste nachlesen konnte. Gute Verständigung auf Englisch. Viele nützliche / hilfreiche Informationen zur Anreise und zum Aufenthalt auch schon im Vorfeld per E-Mail. Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft war...

"Great villa in Tuscany for a big group of people/friends. Has everything you need to accomodate for a big group, huge swimming pool, bbq, big kitchen, everyone has their own bathroom etc. Would definitely recommend this villa if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with a big group. Please note that a car is recommended in this area if you want to leave the villa, and that the road to the villa is a dirt road and not well maintained. Please take this into account."

"Beautiful hotel. I didn’t quite understand we’d have to do a “staff-less” check in but once we saw our room keys it was extremely easy. The hotel is beautiful and it is a very peaceful town with amazing Tuscan views. The restaurant seems to be one of the best ones in the area. We went to San Gimignano and didn’t get a chance to dine there. Would definitely stay again. "

"The Tuscan Country House is beautifully located in the Tuscan landscape. The pool is well maintained and offered relief from the Tuscan summer heat. Our host was ever so helpful and friendly and we loved their 2 dogs. We enjoyed our stay here and got to experience Tuscan live in an authentic country house. "

"We loved our two-week stay at La Villetta and hope to return. It does have a million-dollar view in all directions, and the beautifully landscaped terraces with pavilions provide many places to relax and enjoy the views and surroundings.Paulo was a charming host who provided fresh eggs and La Villetta’s own fantastically good olive oil, and Andrea a responsive and helpful contact. The nearby small community of Montaione is a lovely old hill town with several good restaurants full of local patrons. I’Ciampa was our favorite, and we also enjoyed coffees and pastries at Pasticceria Filli several mornings.The house is charming and comfortable. It was clean and included some very nice touches, like an old pantry cabinet loaded with colorful ceramics, wine glasses, other essentials, and unexpected things like a soup tureen.La Villetta was the home base from which we visited Florence and other Tuscan towns via rental cars, plus a two-day trip to Pompei via train from Florence. Renting a smaller vehicle or vehicles (as opposed to an American full-sized SUV or truck) is a good idea since the local roads are quite narrow, steep, and full of hairpin turns."
