「Excellent parador in 400 year old monastery high above town. Plenty of parking, staff friendly and helpful, room large and well equipped. Restaurant was superb, great service and very high quality food. Not much to see in Monforte, but a drive through the Sil valley is stunning.」

「Room was well maintained. We had an excellent view of the canyon. The food for dinner and breakfast was amazing and the staff were very accommodating. Great service and atmosphere. The only negatives have to do with are the spa area and services. They charge to use the circuit and time limit you. The pools were warm, not hot. Some features didn't work. The Exterior hot tub should have been the crown jewel but it was tepid at best. Best features were the heated lounge chairs and the steam room....
