「Spectacular setting with beautiful outdoor oceanside terrace and bar! This is the main reason for positive rating despite problems listed below.
Several shortcomings with the rooms. AC did not work and was not repaired despite bringing this to management twice during our stay. We had to leave windows open and woke up each morning with mosquito bites.
Room layout is odd, with the shower and sink next to the bed and separate smaller room for toilet. No exhaust fan in room/bathroom.

「First we need to give the family (staff) that runs this fantastic hotel 10 stars, 5 stars just not enough. Super helpful in recommending many restaurants, a winery tour, where to park, etc. Also went above and beyond helping us sort out an issue with a Viator boat trip we wanted to cancel. They pepared fantastic breakfasts. Wonderful, fun people we are glad to have met. The room spotless, bed comfortable, bathroom excellent!」
