「What a surprising and delightful spot on Hawaii’s North Shore! Close to the beach, fruit trees on property, and there was a trampoline for our kid to jump on! Short drive to some really cool spots in Waimea and Hale’iwa. We LOVED our stay here.」

「Super cute one bedroom mini apartment. My husband and I both thought the bed was really comfortable. We both slept great. The communication was top-notch when I needed assistance. Instructions on how to get into the property confused me a smidgen but I'm new to using VRBO. I wish the Wi-Fi would have worked in the unit. That was my only frustration but everything else I thought was well worth the price.」

「Great location, comfortable house for 4 people, and gracious hosts! Mahalo」

「We had a great stay at the rental. It was a beautiful place. Would recommend to others.」

「Our stay at The Makaha Shaka! was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, and well‑kept the property was. The villa is exactly as pictured, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail clearly created to make guests feel at home. The outdoor space is a dream. Waking up to mountain views, relaxing in the lounge area, and enjoying the pool and hot tub made every day feel like a private resort experience. The...

「My family would just like to say that this place is a lot more beautiful in person than what is in the pictures especially the scenery it’s just beautiful as for the host very attentive to any concerns if I ever get a chance to go back to Oahu I would probably book this house again this place meets all expectations. Family friendly for anyone with a big or small family. Inside and out of the house is so taken care are and they thought about everything from games to borrowing things for the the...

「Our hosts responded to our questions and our needs quickly. They even suggested things to do in the area during the holiday weekend. The clean, cool, and well-furnished home provided a wonderful space to recover from a full day of sightseeing. The home included games, including foosball and air hockey as well as board games. Other amenities included a hot tub, and grill in the back yard as well as a community pool and gym within one block from the house.」

「House was in very nice gated community ,the house itself was spotless beautiful rooms everything function properly.our stay was perfect we would definitely stay here again…ty」

「This unit was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location right on the golf course so the kids could run around on the lawn while we sat on the screened lanai and had a drink. Also a super quick walk to the resort and beach for sunset!Everything in the unit was updated and very clean, and loved that the pull out couch was already made with sheets and a blanket as soon as we pulled it out. We would definitely stay here again.」

「Amazing stay. Here for our father's funeral. A perfect house for us as a family coming from multiple cities around the world.」

「This home was absolutely amazing! It is in Makaha Valley which is tucked away in the mountain. We had a view of the mountain and the ocean. The house is warm and inviting. It is bright and decorated so amazing. They have so much stuff available for you, we absolutely loved our stay. The AC units were a huge plus because it was very warm. The pool is amazing and so is the gym! We used both. The neighborhood is active and everyone is friendly and kind. The house was clean and bug free. It is well...

「Beautiful home. Very clean and fresh feeling. Host addressed questions and minor issue with urgency and corrected it immediately. It was very refreshing being able to call them and speaking to them without a bunch of call center run around. Would definitely stay again when on Oahu.」

「The house was perfect for our family, the toy room in the garage was the biggest hit. It was clean but the best part was our host. They really made us feel welcome and were so helpful with whatever we needed. Thank you both for making our vacation wonderful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this place」

「The home was immaculate, bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds, and bathrooms were well supplied with towels and toiletries. The living room and dining areas were ample and accommodating. The kitchen had everything you would need; we didn’t cook anything but we found all we needed to enjoy takeout! The backyard was large with a beautiful view. Plenty of seating but unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there. We had a great stay! Thank you!」

「Beautiful new home that was perfect for our 10 member family. The owner was very sweet and seemed patient with all my questions. This was my first time using VRBO so I asked a ton of them. Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed great family time and a movie night on their big screen TV. What I loved the most was listening to the wild peacocks at night while sitting on the back porch. Thank you Kerstan.」

「We loved our stay here. They have it very well stocked kitchen. They had all we needed to enjoy the beach as well. The kids enjoyed the games in the garage. Whenever we had questions and need Cynthia was very attentive to all out needs. Would stay here again.」
